Not sure which character to play in Mecha Break? Our tier list is here to help. In this guide, we’ve ranked all of the characters from S tier to D tier, to help you determine who to pick and who to skip. We’ll also detail why we like the best characters, and recommend using them.
S Tier
These are the best characters in Mecha Break, and we thoroughly recommend using them. They’re easy to pick up and play, and will dominate at all phases of the game.

Aquila | Heavy | Sniper |
Panther | Medium | Brawler |
Pinaka | Medium | Support |
A Tier
A tier characters can stand toe-to-toe with S tiers, but may require some mastery or upgrading to get to that point. If you’ve mastered the game and want a bit of a challenge, try these guys.
Character | Weight | Role |
Hurricane | Ultra Heavy | Defender |
Skyraider | Medium | Attacker |
B Tier
Characters in this tier are solid during the early phases, but are worth swapping out when you can access a stronger option.
Character | Weight | Role |
Alysnes | Medium | Attacker |
Falcon | Light | Attacker |
Inferno | Ultra Heavy | Attacker |
Narukami | Light | Sniper |
Welkin | Heavy | Brawler |
C Tier
C tier characters have niche usage, but are otherwise worth avoiding.
Character | Weight | Role |
Luminae | Light | Support |
D Tier
Don’t use these characters under any circumstance. They’re awful at all stages of the game.
Character | Weight | Role |
Stego | Ultra Heavy | Attacker |
Tricera | Ultra Heavy | Defender |
Who Are the Best Characters in Mecha Break?
We consider the following characters to be the best in Mecha Break:
- Aquila
- Panther
- Pinaka
Let’s take a look at these characters in greater detail so you know what you’re getting yourself into.
Aquila
Aquila is super quick and can fly with ease, allowing you to get into and out of trouble with ease. Thanks to its sniper capabilities, you can fight safely from a great distance, and deal decent damage.
Lastly, given its heavy weight class and surprisingly manoeuvrability, you have decent defence and mobility. What a solid unit.
Panther
If you like getting stuck into the middle of it, with a melee-focused mech, go for Panther. As a medium weight class, Panther has a good balance of defence and manoeuvrability.
Where this unit really shines though is in its hard hitting ability with that lance, shredding enemy armour to leave them defenceless.
Pinaka
Last, but certainly not least, we have Pinaka. This unit focuses on support, so if you like helping out your allies, go for this one.
However, it’s capable of dealing decent damage too, so you won’t feel utterly useless when your allies are at full strength.
