The Mage in Royal Quest Online is the master of DPS, particularly at range. It’s your classic fireball-slinging wizard, capable of controlling the elements to vaporise whole groups of enemies with a minimal of effort.

Its support options are surprisingly limited though. You can perform some crowd control by knocking back, stunning, and slowing enemies, but the only effect you can have on a party member is a single heal.

You do have a couple of pretty vital abilities to use against bosses though. This includes silencing them, preventing them from using magic, and stripping positive effects off them.

The Mage is primarily a master of damage, with plenty of AoE elemental attacks that make short work of enemy groups. If you’re picking this class, dealing as much damage as possible should be high on your agenda.

Having said that, you will have a few nifty support options. The Mage can knock back, slow down, and stun opponents to keep them at bay. If you’re facing a particularly challenging boss, you can silence them to prevent them from using magic.

You can even strip positive effects off opponents and grant them to yourself, and heal allies who are low in HP. There’s a lot going on with the mage.

Skills

Mage skills primarily focus on dealing AoE elemental damage. If you like sticking back, throwing out fireballs with wild abandon, this is the class for you.

In addition to this, you can debuff opponents with slows, knock backs, and stuns. You can also heal yourself and allies, and strip buffs from your enemies.
