As soon as you encounter a dungeon in Throne and Liberty, you will also run up against ‘Dimensional Contract Tokens’. This virtual currency allows you to open the chest at the end of a dungeon. Given that’s kind of the whole point of running this challenging content, you’re going to need plenty of currency if you plan on farming them.

Here’s the bad news: you can only get Dimensional Contract Tokens once per day. You don’t have to do anything to get them though – Throne and Liberty simply dishes them out during a daily reset. Logging in isn’t a requirement, though there is a cap to how much you can hold at each time.

Here’s the full breakdown:

Level RangeDaily ChargeMaximum Capacity
20 – 293601,800
30 – 396603,300
40 – 497803,900
509004,500

Effectively, at all levels from 20 onwards, it takes five full days to top up to the maximum capacity. You don’t necessarily need to wait till it’s full to loot some dungeons, but you should absolutely not let it go to waste. As soon as you hit capacity, perform enough dungeon runs so that you gain your full daily charge the next day. That way, you aren’t wasting rewards.

How to Check When the Daily Reset is

When viewing how many Dimensional Contract Tokens you have, you should see the following message: “Time remaining until the next charge:”. Beneath this, you should see how many hours and minutes you’ve got to wait until the reset.

You can also check how many Dimensional Contract Tokens you’ll receive, as well as your maximum capacity.

The Best Way to Use Dimensional Contract Tokens

If you’re under level 50, we recommend that you just horde as many Dimensional Contract Tokens as you can. Ideally, when you hit the level cap, you should have the maximum 4,500 tokens ready to go.

Why? Well, this will allow you to get a huge jumpstart on endgame gearing, as you can maximise your chances of getting the best gear.

How Many Dungeons Can I Run Per Day?

That depends on how many Dimensional Contract Tokens you have. If you’re level 50, and use your tokens every single day, you can run three dungeons before you run out.
