The Throne and Liberty Halloween event, Haunted Harvest, has finally landed, and with it a number of themed events and goodies. This is in addition to the Halloween skins NCSoft introduced shortly before announcing the event.

We’ve got an event dungeon, Halloween costumes, minigames, and, most importantly, a spooky makeover for a number of your favourite spots. They’re decked out in pumpkins, cobwebs, and cauldrons. Yes!

We’re going to detail everything you need to know about the Halloween update, as well as the full Throne and Liberty 1.4.0 patch notes, which introduce a number of changes that aren’t related to the Halloween event.

When Does Throne and Liberty Halloween Event Haunted Harvest Release and When Does it End?

Haunted Harvest officially launched today, October 25. It runs all the way through to November 13.

Haunted Labyrinth

Kicking things off, we have a spooky event dungeon, Haunted Labyrinth, which looks absolutely awesome. You access it via a flying pumpkin carriage, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

The dungeon mechanics include planting pumpkins before turning into one and navigating a bunch of traps before taking on a gigantic spooky monster at the end.

Beat it to earn Dimension Pumpkins, which you can exchange for the following rewards at event merchants in Kastleton:

  • Ghastly Gourd cosmetic outfit
  • Jack-o’-Lantern Izzy Amitoi
  • Hallow-Knight shapeshift

Gummy Fishing

If you prefer to kick back and fish, well, that’s going to be a bit more spooky than before. Throne and Liberty has introduced a variety of ghostly fish to catch. They provide you with a number of buffs to help you in combat.

Here are the fish you can catch and the buffs you get for catching them:

  • Red Gummy Fish: Increased attack and movement speed
  • Yellow Gummy Fish: Increased attack and movement speed
  • Blue Gummy Fish: Increased attack and movement speed
  • Pumpkin Taffy: Increased boss hit rate, damage and damage resistance against undead and demon enemies

Spooky Pumpkin Pies and Choco-Spider Cookies

Over in the world of crafting, you can now prepare some spooky baked goods. These include spider-themed cookies and a pumpkin pie, which actually look really tasty.

Here’s what you can craft and the bonuses you get for consuming them:

  • Spooky Pumpkin Pie: Increased mastery gain and abyss consumption efficiency
  • Choco-Spider Cookie: Increased critical hit chance and damage

Daily Login Bonuses

Each time you login, you will gain a daily bonus. This includes Candy Corn, a brand new currency that you can spend on additional rewards.

A Spooky Makeover

Kastleton looks fabulous. We’ve got pumpkins everywhere, festive Halloween lights on every building, and ghosts taking flight throughout the town. There’s even a gigantic pumpkin scarecrow that’s guaranteed to frighten the easily-scared amongst you.

But that’s not all: a number of your favourite locations within Solisium have received a Halloween makeover, including visuals, sound effects, and music:

  • Kastleton
  • Purelight Tower
  • Starlight Observatory Ruins
  • Watcher’s Post
  • Stoneguard Citadel
  • Vienta Village
  • Sanctuary Oasis
  • Canina Village

Trick or Treat!

Here’s a fun little event. You have to hunt around any city and village within the game for NPCs dressed in costume. You then “Trick or Treat” them to earn Candy Corn.

These characters are easier to spot at night, but if you find them during the day you earn additional Candy Corn.

Find all three costumed characters and you get the ‘Phantom’s Prank’ buff, which boosts your Sollant and XP gain.

Spooky Amitoi

There are a ton of spooky new Amitoi, including a teensy little pumpkin, a ghost, and what looks like a handmade possessed stuffed toy.

Sadly, the Amitoi house doesn’t seem to have many decorations. Throne and Liberty is missing a trick there.

However, you can send your Amitoi on special Expeditions to earn additional event rewards. These include:

  • Jack-o’-Lantern Izzy Amitoi
  • Hexbound Figment Amitoi

You can learn more about the update on Steam.
