Adopt Me has just dropped the Moon Eg update, which provides you with a whopping eight new eggs to collect. There are two variants of Moon Egg too: regular or Royal. The only difference is that the Royal variant has better drop rates.
That doesn’t mean the regular is useless though, as it’s currently the only egg that allows you to unlock Hopbop, the latest Common pet in Adopt Me.

The Moon Egg is a lower rarity egg that provides you with a lower chance to collect the new pets than its Royal variant. However, there is a pett that’s unique to the Moon Egg: Hopbop.
The Royal Moon Egg improves drop rates by between a third and double, depending on the pet.
