3V3 UPDATES

We’ve updated the algorithm and matchmaking system, so 3v3s should now be much more stable than before. Sorry for all the previous issues — we’re still figuring out the best way to handle this!

The Spin Wheel we hinted at yesterday is finally here! Check behind you when you spawn in. You can now also get your hands on the ONI’S WRATH cosmetic 😀

EVENT QUESTS

Unfortunately, the event quests have been pushed back a little more since they still need some extra time in the oven. We don’t want to serve you anything half-baked. Yeah, I know that’s kinda ironic considering the state of 3v3s, but just go with the analogy, okay?

IGNORE THE FOLLOWING

Previous Update Changes (Jackpot)

This update brought a host of new moves and features to the game. Players could use moves like Lucky Bounce to evade defenders, Lucky Pass which was unblockable, Jackpot Steal for a quick steal that led to follow-on moves, Lucky Dash for a forward burst, and Lucky Stun that stopped opponents when they stole the ball.

The update also included a gambling element called Jackpot that offered boosts such as a guaranteed steal rate, dribble rate, and faster movement speed for thirty seconds. Losing the Jackpot resulted in a temporary slowdown, so players had to use it wisely.

The update introduced an option called Loaded Dice, which provided either a guaranteed shot that could be blocked or a move that pulled the ball in the player’s direction. The 777 ZONE offered a strong boost in movement speed, shooting range, or both.

The new slot system allowed players to purchase a fourth slot for storing more styles if needed.

The Giant character saw changes to the Snatch Block, making it less powerful and giving players a better chance to score. On the cosmetic side, players could show off a Winner tattoo, a player card that demonstrated their gambling skills, an emote that celebrated their earnings, and even a goal effect that resembled a slot machine.

Additional elements included a Shiawase mythic traversal emote with a matching song and visual effects, and a boombox system that let players listen to their favorite music in the lobby and on their avatar.
