The long-awaited Pain Fruit rework just dropped in Blox Fruits, and wow, this update is insane. If you’ve been curious about how to unlock the new abilities, where to get the fruit, and what the event system is all about, here’s the complete Blox Fruits guide.
Where to Get Pain Fruit in Blox Fruits
The Pain Fruit is now available in the shop for 2,200 Robux. Yeah, it’s a little pricier than the Lightning Fruit (100 Robux more), but considering how strong this rework is, the price bump makes sense. The model itself hasn’t changed much, though upgrades will unlock new abilities, similar to how Rumble works.
Upgrading Pain Fruit with the Mad Scientist
To get the new moves, you’ll need to visit the Mad Scientist NPC. Once you’ve got Pain equipped, you can upgrade it to unlock fresh abilities. It’s basically a full-on rework, with skills that feel powerful, flashy, and honestly a little busted in the right hands.
New Pain Abilities
Here’s a breakdown of the moves you’ll get as you level up your mastery (up to around 300):
- Fury Jab (Z) – Your bread and butter. This builds your pain meter and can be held down to spawn projectiles. Broken and super fun.
- Rage Release (X) – A deadly combo extender. Clean animations, clean damage.
- Agony Nuke (C) – Big AoE damage that feels ridiculous in team fights.
- Torturing Pulse (V) – A charged ability that grows the longer you hold it. Release it for a devastating explosion.
- Torment Warp (F) – A teleport move that cranks up your mobility and combo potential.
The M1s even got buffed, they’re snappier and way smoother, which makes fighting feel better overall.
It’s not just Pain Fruit. Sharkman Karate also got reworked with new moves like 12 Water Palms and Great Sea Spear. The animations are slick, and the combos hit harder than before. Definitely worth revisiting if you slept on this fighting style.
The New Event System
To unlock some of Pain’s hidden abilities, you’ll need to participate in the Slap Battle Event. Here’s how it works:
- Found in Middletown (C1), Dock 2 (C2), and Sea Castle (C3).
- Every hour at the 30-minute mark, you can join a boxing-style fish slap battle.
- Winning earns you Summer Tokens, which are used to progress and unlock extras.
Boss fights also tie into the event. Every hour, bosses respawn with a red aura and Pain-style attacks. They’re way stronger than before, so be prepared for an actual challenge. Beating them nets you big rewards, including Summer Tokens.
Pain Fruit Skins
This update even added three new skins:
- Frustration
- Sadness
- Torment
They’re cosmetic flexes, but let’s be honest, everyone loves a good fruit skin.
