If you’re trying to upgrade Sharkman Karate to V2 in Blox Fruits, I just went through the whole grind and let me save you some headache. It’s actually pretty fun once you get into it, but there are a few things you need to know before you start, otherwise you’re just gonna waste time.

How To Unlock Sharkman Karate V2 Abilities in Blox Fruits

First of all, head over to Submerged Island. It’s the same place Sharkman stuff usually is. There’s a wall you have to break to get to him. I used Dark Blade, but honestly anything that can break walls should work. If you don’t have a wall-breaker, you can even glitch through it (don’t judge me, we’ve all done it).

Inside, you’ll find the Sharkman Master. He’s the guy you need to talk to.

Complete the Training Challenge

When you talk to the Sharkman Master, hit Train, and he’ll tell you that you have to defeat him in consecutive battles to “master Sharkman Karate.”

Slap Battle MiniGame Blox Fruits

Sounds simple. It’s not.

What you actually get is basically a slap battle minigame. Every win gives you a headband (belt, whatever you want to call it), and you have to keep winning until you reach the last one, Black Headband, to unlock everything.

But here’s the catch:

  • If you lose even once, you start over from scratch.
  • And there’s a 35-minute cooldown if you lose, which is painful if you choke late in the run.

The battles get harder each time. At first it’s just a joke, you barely need to try, but by the time you’re on purple headband and above, you have to be super precise with hitting the green bar. Miss too many times and you’re done.

All New Moves Explained

Each headband unlocks a new ability.

  • Purple Headband lets you unlock Pressure Vortex
  • Black Headband unlocks the final move (and basically confirms you’ve maxed your Sharkman Karate upgrade)

Make sure you check back with the Sharkman Master after each win so you can train again and keep progressing.

Requirements

Not everyone can talk to the Sharkman Master. A few of my friends tried and couldn’t. From what I’ve seen, you probably need around 500 Mastery on Sharkman Karate to even start this. Maybe you also need the “fish battle wins” from the old quests, but I’m pretty sure mastery is the main requirement.

So if you can’t interact with him, go grind some mastery first.

Tips From Someone Who Lost (A Lot)

  • Stay focused on the green bar. Later rounds are all about timing. If you miss, that’s it, you start over.
  • If you’re not confident, do it when you’re calm. I tried to rush a round once and failed on purple headband. Pain.
  • Keep an eye on the cooldown timer. If you lose, don’t waste time sitting around angry. Instead, go grind mastery or farm some fruits while waiting.
  • Don’t be afraid to glitch through the wall if you don’t have a wall-breaking weapon yet. Everyone does it.

This upgrade is actually worth the grind. Sharkman Karate is already good, but getting those extra moves just makes it way more fun to use. I was kind of worried it would just be a boring “pay fragments and done” quest, but the headband challenge is honestly a nice change of pace.

It’s frustrating if you lose late in the run, but the satisfaction of finally unlocking that black headband is great. I’d say set aside at least an hour for this if you want to clear it in one sitting.
