Patch Notes – Yukimiya Rework Overview

Yukimiya is finally getting his rework in Blue Lock Rivals. By the time you see this, the official trailer might already be out since the devs have started releasing new art for him.

One big question is whether Yukimiya will stay in the legendary tier or be bumped up to mythic. Most likely, he’ll stay legendary since mythic is already too crowded, and it would feel unbalanced to add another there.

Now, about his moves. Even though the devs haven’t shown them yet, we can predict them based on how other reworks have been done. Most reworks follow the same structure, so Yukimiya’s will probably look like this:

  • First move (base kit): A two-part chain. Likely a freestyle dribble or new dribble animation that can continue into his signature gyro shot.
  • Second move: His current “lethal touch” will probably be turned into another flashy dribble move, maybe with cool orange VFX. Since he’s a striker and dribbler, not a defender, it won’t become a steal move.

Overall, his rework will focus heavily on dribbling since that’s his identity. Expect at least two or three of his moves to be centered on dribble play.

For his awakening, the animations will get a big upgrade. Right now, they’re pretty plain, but the devs are capable of making them much more stylish and impactful, similar to what they did for other characters. His awakening moves will likely include:

  • Street dribbling (upgraded visuals or reworked into a combo dribble)
  • Gyro shot (with better effects, a sharper curve, and maybe dramatic camera angles)

His flow will probably add more dribble extensions, making him feel faster and harder to predict. He might even get some curved shot variations tied to his gyro shot identity.

In short, Yukimiya’s rework will:

  • Keep him in the legendary tier
  • Give him a chain dribble into gyro shot
  • Turn lethal touch into a new flashy dribble
  • Reanimate and improve his awakening
  • Add dribble extensions and possible curved shots in his flow
