There are five different Dead Rails classes you can play as in the hit new Roblox game. In this guide, we’re going to list all of them, including the benefits (or downsides!) you get by playing them.
Dead Rails Classes Guide
What Are Classes?
Dead Rails features a number of different classes that you can play as, which alters your starting equipment, provides you with special abilities, and modifies your stats.
No Class
This is the default option, and is basically Dead Rails: Hard Mode. You receive zero special abilities or stat modifiers, and the following equipment:
- Shovel
- Brown Cowboy Hat
Alamo
If you’d like to play as a defensive class that doesn’t feature the movement speed debuff, go with the Alamo. You spawn with a bit of armour, but, most importantly, you gain items that you can use to defend your train.
- Helmet
- Steel Wall x3
- Barbed Wire x3
- Shovel
Arsonist
The Arsonist loves starting fires, as you can expect from the name. You gain Molotov Cocktails and a different version of the Cowboy Hat, but otherwise it’s quite similar to ‘No Class’.
- Molotov Cocktails x4
- Charred Cowboy Hat
- Shovel
Doctor
As you can expect, the Doctor is a master of healing and reviving your teammates. You spawn with the healing items listed below, and you gain the ability to sacrifice half your health to revive an ally.
- Shovel
- Bandage x2
- Snake Oil x2
- Bowler Hat
Iron Clad
If you want to play as an absolute defensive juggernaut in Dead Rails, check out the Iron Clad class. This starts with incredible defensive armour, though your movement speed takes a 20% hit.
- Helmet
- Chestplate
- Left Shoulder Armour
- Right Shoulder Armour
- Shovel
