What is Fort Constitution?
Fort Constitution is a large fort that can appear in Dead Rails once you’ve travelled at least 60km on your train. It’s a massive outpost that features a swarm of enemies, a variety of buildings, and some of the best loot currently available in the game.
How to Get There
You can find Fort Constitution just before you reach the checkpoint located at roughly 60km. You will know you’re there, as it’s a pretty massive fort and you can see a sign above the entrance clearly labelled ‘Fort Constitution’.
Strategy
There is a sheer volume of zombies within Fort Constitution, so we recommend that you start as early as possible during the day to give yourself the maximum amount of time to get in and out without having to deal with the more challenging night.
We recommend taking out the initial batch from a safe distance with a weapon that’s got decent accuracy. After that, just get stuck in and pick off the rest of them with a decent close range weapon.

Captain Prescott is arguably the most challenging enemy to defeat within Fort Constitution. You can recognise them by their blue navy jacket and hat, as well as their moustache.
Defeat them and you can loot the body for a vault key, which lets you open a vault and get some solid loot.
