Not sure how to obtain Horse in Dead Rails? Well, we’ve got you covered with this comprehensive guide to help you unlock the Horse Class in Dead Rails.
How To Unlock Horse in Dead Rails
Horse is unlocked by obtaining the Horse Class, which requires you to complete the new game mode called Horsing Around. It was introduced as a part of the April Fool’s update and once you complete this mode, you’ll finally have a horse in the game.
The Horse Class makes you spawn in as a horse in any game mode you use it in. It allows you to have the same stats as a regular horse, moving at 32 studs a second.
Dead Rails Horsing Around Gamemode Guide
At the start of the game, pick any gun you like, such as a shotgun or a revolver. In this mode, you play as a horse, and your goal is to escape Mexico. The first thing you need to do is find a lightning rod, a gun, or some armor.
Why the Lightning Rod Is Important
Lightning can strike you during thunderstorm nights and you will die without protection. Since there is no train in this mode, you have to have a lightning rod to stay safe.
How to Survive the Journey
Seek shelter and search towns for useful items. Look for a town and clear the enemies, then stay inside a building. Search for bandages, armor, and weapons. Avoid entering big towns unless you have to, which are very dangerous.
In addition, you require money and better weapons. Get money by selling items at safe zones. In order to get rich, defeating outlaws is a good idea; they drop a lot of money. Get yourself a rifle and a shotgun, as they are the best weapons for survival. Look for a lightning rod to search houses in order to survive thunderstorms.
How to Survive Different Nights
In the case of Zombie Night, keep going forward and never stop. Whenever a zombie hits you, walk back and defeat some for a second time, then move forward. Take advantage of the fact some zombies will slow each other down. Use bandages if you get hurt.
It is the safest night on Thunderstorm Night. If you have your lightning rod, take it out and keep running. No enemies will attack you.
It is the hardest night on Vampire Night. Vampires teleport and attack you. Quickly move left and right to avoid them when you hear them appear. Stay in a base if you cannot yet fight. Any hit, bandages, and snake oil.
It is similar to Zombie Night on Werewolf Night. Keep running straight. Dodge or shoot the werewolf with your shotgun if a werewolf appears in front of you.
Finding a Lab for Extra Money
If you find a lab, loot it for gold bricks, iron bricks, and Nikola Tesla’s brain. There are no enemies inside, so it is a safe way to get rich.
Reaching 80km and Finishing the Run
Once you learn how to survive, keep going until you reach 80km.
