The illusions protecting the towers can hide either outside or inside the tower. Here’s a quick trick to save time:
- When you approach a tower, check the door at the bottom.
- If it’s closed with a blue magical barrier and a symbol (crest), the puzzle is outside.
- If the door is already open, the puzzle will be inside.

Missing Symbol on the Blue Barrier
If the door looks sealed with a magical blue barrier but the symbol (crest) on it is missing, simply run right through the barrier. That’s it — the seal breaks instantly.
Crest Above the Front Door
Look straight above the tower’s entrance. If you spot a blue crest floating there, break it with a strong weapon or ranged attack. No mystery here, just hit it and move on.
Statue or Podium Near the Stairs
Check the base of the stairs to the right of the tower’s entrance. A statue or podium often stands there disguised as part of the scenery. Attack it to reveal and break the crest.
Blue Crest Reflection in Water
Sometimes, a body of water will appear next to the tower. Look for a reflection of a blue crest on the water’s surface. That crest is actually invisible on the tower wall near the reflection. Shoot or strike the exact wall where the reflection is, and you’ll break the crest.
Extra Stone Structure (Shack or Masonry)

Unlit Candle Near the Entrance
As soon as you step inside, look up to your left. The candle closest to the door on the wall will be unlit. Use a ranged attack or a jump strike to hit it. That will trigger the crest to appear. Break the crest and proceed.
Flat Wall Next to Crystals
On the right side of the crystals in front of you, look for a flat wall instead of a statue. Attack this wall to reveal the crest. Once broken, you can claim your prize.
Ruin Towers
