The latest Fisch update brought a new migration event that allows you to catch highly sought-after blue whales. It works similar to the Orca migration event but it’s worth noting that the location and the process to spawn are far different. So here’s a detailed breakdown of how the Blue Whale migration event works in Fisch.

How To Spawn Blue Whale Migration Event in Fisch

How To Spawn Blue Whale Migration Event in Fisch

The Blue Whale Migration event has a 20% chance of spawning during the rainy season. To activate the rainy season in the game, you can use the Tempest totem. This totem allows you to summon rain in the game and you can purchase it from the Terrapin Cave (20, 140, 1860) for 2,000 C$.

Once the rainy season is active, wait for the Blue Whale migration event to begin. The game will in fact notify you with a message that the “Blue Whale migration event has begun.”

Fisch Blue Whale Location

The Blue Whale can be found behind the Sunstone island, which is located at GPS coordinates (-935, 130, -1105).

The location is usually accompanied by an arrow path, which states where the blue whales are heading. At this point, you have to keep accelrating your boat to align your position and cast your rod in the ocean to successfully catch a blue whale.

Here are the stats of the blue whale fish:

  • Description: A massive whale, often seen in cold waters during feeding season.
  • Type: Exotic
  • Season: Summer
  • Suitable Bait: Shrimp

We recommend using the Destiny or Heaven’s Rod to easily catch blue whale in the game. Keep in mind that this migration event is here for a few days only so make sure to act fast.

In fact, blue whale also has a special variant called Moby which you can catch to complete the Captain Ahab quest in the game.
