Those having a hard time catching the Eternal Frostwhale in Fisch can check out this easy guide. The Eternal Frostwhale is similar to the highly sought after Megalodon as it also requires a Shark Head as a bait and it’s size is identical to that of a giant shark. So without further delay, here’s how to catch it.
How To Catch Eternal Frostwhale in Fisch
Eternal Frostwhale is a limited fish that you can only catch at the Golden Tide pool.
This pool randomly appears in different areas of the game but luckily, its location is highlighted on the map with a giant yellow mark which means you won’t face difficulties finding it.
The game in fact also notifies all the players by sending out a message: “Golden Tide pool has appeared.”
Once you reach the destination, all you have to do is cast your rod and wait for the Eternal Frostwhale to appear. As we’ve mentioned earlier, it’s a rare fish which means the chance of appearing is very minimal.
Please note: Eternal Frostwhale is a limited-time fish that you can only catch before January 18, 2025.
Thankfully, you can increase it by using the Shark Head bait that you can get from Quality Bait Crates or as a reward for completing one of the Anglers quests. Also try to use rods with higher luck.
However, unlike Megalodon, catching Eternal Frostwhale isn’t easy even if you encounter it. This is because this specific fish type has a -80% progress speed which eventually affects your position.
To counter this aspect, devs have introduced a special rod known as the Firework rod which reduces whale progress speed by 20%.
As a result, we highly recommend using it when the Golden Tide pool appears to easily reel in the Eternal Frostwhale. You can get this rod by completing the Golden Tide quest in Fisch.
