With the arrival of the Lobster update, Fisch brought lobster fishing, which translates to plenty of new content. Lobster fishing is a gameplay mechanic that allows players to catch regional-specific lobsters using various different cages. With that said, here’s everything you need to know about lobster fishing in Roblox Fisch, including its location, cages, and boats required.
How To Do Lobster Fishing in Fisch
Boats are crucial for lobster fishing and determine which types of cages a player can use. There are 4 different utility boats:

You can sail to any lobster pool depicted on the map with your utility boat. All you have to do is hit X to bring up the targeting UI and select which cage you wish to use. When you choose a cage, it will sink into the water and begin a short countdown before it is ready to harvest.
When it comes time to harvest, you’ll start a timed mini game. You must hit the marker in the target zone in order to collect lobster from your cage.
Lobster Fishing Location
Lobster Shores is a spot in the First Sea, southeast of Terrapin Island. It is a raised island with some hills and trees and a lobster shop where you can purchase lobster cages for fishing or trade in your lobsters for lobster rolls.

All Cages in Fisch and How They Work
Crab cage catches are a whole lot easier to understand compared to fishing rods, since so much less really has an impact upon them. The only thing that will increase a Crab Cage’s luck above 0% is to apply the Lucky buff, as nothing else pushes the needle.

If you do have some luck going, it gets a tiny log boost based on the fish’s base catch chance, but it’s nothing crazy. Catch chances gain a minor 10% boost if the fish is in its preferred time of year, but there’s no penalty for being out of season.
Weather is more important though because getting in the right weather is a nice 35% boost, just like rods. But if the fish isn’t in its preferred time of day, the catch chance drops a pretty nice 60%.
Most events, such as Night of the Fireflies, Shiny Surge, or Mutation Surge, do nothing to Crab Cages. The same applies to special weather effects such as eclipses or other conditions such as blizzards and moonlit mirages.
The Aurora Borealis only works if you have the Lucky buff equipped as aswell. Also, fish weight is limited to double the base weight, so getting a giant fish is much more difficult here. XP gains are halved as well and on top of all that, the luck cap for Crab Cage fishing is 25% less than rod fishing.
