Once you finish the Tornado-based quest with the Treasure Whale and the Crazy Man, you will unlock Treasure Island, where this rod appears. It does provide solid control for the price, but it’s not a best option for making money in the long run.

How to get into the whale interior in Fisch
This is how you can enter the whale and access the Merchant Rod shop:
- The Treasure Whale spawns at
-357, 96, -277, on the south side of the Isle of New Beginnings, any time it’s raining. - After it lands, the whale will stay on the island for 8 minutes before starting a 5-minute trip to Treasure Island.
- After the whale arrives at the destination, players are teleported out automatically onto Treasure Island.
Inside the Whale, you’ll find:
- The Crazy Man NPC (for the quest Tornado)
- A special Whale Bestiary specific to this location
- The Whale Merchant, who sells:
- Merchant Rod
- Golden Shrimp Bait
