Wondering how to spawn and catch Octophant in Roblox Fisch? The Animal Update in Fisch is finally here, and while it’s a smaller update, there’s still plenty to explore. One of the main highlights of this update is none other than the Octophant, which is basically a mixture of octopus and elephant.
However, it isn’t your regular fish, as it requires certain conditions to spawn. WIth that said, here’s a full guide to help you spawn and catch Octophant in Roblox Fisch.
How To Find and Catch Octophant in Fisch
The Octophant can be found in the second sea, specifically near the Lushgrove island. Octophant only spawns in the rain which means you can use the Tempest Totem to make this creature spawn.
When it appears, you’ll see a protective layer of bubble with 25 health. As long as this layer is active, you won’t be able to catch Octophant. To remove the bubble, you have to catch a total of 25 fish.
After meeting this condition, you’ll be able to catch Octophant. Keep in mind that its progress speed is -90%, which means you’ll need a S-Tier rod to easily catch an Octophant
Best Conditions and Gear
To increase your chances of success, here are the preferred conditions:
- Bait: Golden Worm
- Weather: Clear
- Season: Summer (although it can be caught in any season)
- Fishing Rod: Rod of Forgotten
- Tools: Fish Radar to help locate the spawn
While these are ideal settings, players can still catch the Octophant in other conditions. It just might take a bit longer.
If you’re not able to reach the Second Sea yet, don’t worry as there’s still plenty to explore in the First Sea, which features its own animal fish event. This event can also be triggered using a Tempest Totem, and like the Octophant event, it spawns randomly.
A notification will alert you when the event has appeared, and a glowing light will point you to the exact spot. While fishing there, you’ll have the opportunity to catch one of ten newly introduced animal fish. One fan-favorite includes a monkey-themed fish that’s quickly become a community favorite.
