The Valentine update for Roblox Fisch has officially arrived for all the platforms. In the latest update, you can unlock various love-themed rewards via the exclusive event and catch a rare fish. We’ve put together all the info about the Valentine Event and Lovestorm Eel for your convenience.
Fisch Valentine Event at Moosewood
Once you step into the Moosewoord island, you’ll come across a Cupid statue with an NPC right below it. The NPC will say, “Happy Valentine’s Day!” and offer you free rewards when you interact with him. However, the rewards aren’t available to you right away.
Instead, you will see a menu that gives you a task: catch fish to fill up a progress bar.
You can play this event by yourself or invite a friend. If you want to invite someone, click on the “send request” button.
At this point, you’ll see a list of the players you can invite in order to play together.
Catching the Lovestorm Eel in Fisch
During the update, a random event called the Love Struck Event may appear. This event basically features a rare fish called the Lovestorm Eel, which spawns near the Roslit Bay. This fish looks amazing, but it is very hard to catch.
The chance of catching the Lovestorm Eel is very low (a negative 90% progression rate). It’s also worth noting that only one Lovestorm Eel spawns during the event, which means you have to wait for the next event if someone else catches it before you.
Special Rod for Content Creators
The developers have also introduced a new rod, which is unfortunately not available for regular players as it’s only rewarded to the Fisch content creators. The rod is called the Clickbait Caster and it looks like a giant camera with a fish on top. It works like the Heavens Rod but has a faster lure speed.
It also has a special passive ability like the Rod of the Depths. The rod even shows fun background quotes that relate to content creation.
