Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 ‘Wrecked’ update was a class and many players felt that season had untapped potential. As is tradition, fans went on the internet to suggest how Epic could squeeze Wrecked season even more but one of the suggestions really stood out.

A recent Reddit post caught attention when a Fortnite fan posted about their creative pitch for a limited-time summer mode centered around the Wrecked theme from Chapter 5 Season 3.

Fortnite Wrecked Mode Concept Features

The post titled “Wrecked Mode concept” encouraged Epic Games to bring a classic battle royale experience with a twist: a rotating loot pool featuring weapons and items exclusively from Chapter 5 Season 3, similar to the popular mechanics seen in Fortnite Reload.

In the concept, the Redditor also said that the developers should bring back the iconic wasteland- and nitro-themed map which is highly known for its high-octane gameplay elements.

Vehicle combat would also get a major upgrade in this concept. The user imagines new car mods, including fan-requested features like spiked wheels or hydraulics, which were not present in the original season.

To top it all off, the mode could be bundled with a mini-event pass as part of a summer event.

Finally, the author wrote in their post:

“This would do justice for Wrecked and for all people that wanted to enjoy this season but couldn’t.”

Community Reaction

As you might expect, the objective here is to give a chance to the Fortnite fans to revisit the special Wrecked era, and honestly, it’s a great suggestion.

As a result, the concept received an overwhelming response from the community, especially from those who didn’t get enough time to enjoy this particular season.

Since this Wrecked concept would be a great addition, the post quickly reached a large number of fans who also agreed that it is the perfect way to redeem the missed opportunities of Chapter 5 Season 3.
