Fortnite Festival is Getting a Local Multiplayer Mode
Season 7 also introduces a brand new local multiplayer mode that you can play on PlayStation or Xbox. This sees up to four players battling together for high score supremacy.
Each player needs to sign in with their own Epic Games account to participate, so there are no guests this time around.
You also need to be eligible to participate in ‘T’ experiences.
Four New Battle Mode Stages
As part of the Season 7 update, you can now play specific song parts:
- Lead Only
- Drums Only
- Vocals Only
- Bass Only
This allows you to focus on a specific instrument and master it. You score in a similar manner to when playing regularly.
Equip Instruments as Weapons
This will prove popular: you can soon equip Guitars, Basses, Keytars, and select drumsticks as either a pickaxe, or back bling.
What you can do with each item depends on the item itself, but it’s worth checking your locker after update 33.20 to see what’s changed.
