Epic Games is about to unleash two incredibly exciting updates for LEGO Fortnite. The first arrives tomorrow, and is a complete overhaul with a new title, LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, and a host of new content.

The second, and possibly more exciting update, is basically LEGO Grand Theft Auto. It goes by the title Brick Life, and it features a whole city to explore in a wide variety of vehicles, and activities everywhere you look.

LEGO Fortnite Odyssey arrives tomorrow, December 10, while Brick Life launches on December 12. Let’s take a look at everything we know about both updates.

What’s LEGO Fortnite Odyssey?

If you’d just like to know at a glance, here’s all of the new content that LEGO Fortnite Odyssey includes:

  • Biome
  • Dungeons
  • Enemies
  • Items
  • The Storm King boss

Judging from the teaser trailer above, there’s a lot going on in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey. It begins with a bunch of LEGO characters carrying a range of different weapons as they explore a new biome.

The action then swaps to a farming mode, complete with tractors, animals, and crops. We then see a pirate ship, mountains, and them some eerie, creepy forest.

It’s then all about Star Wars, and suddenly we’re in a fort. It’s, quite frankly, all over the place.

The trailer ends with the crux of the new update though: a new villain, a purple storm-themed wasteland to explore, and a bunch of creepy new villains.

The denizens of LEGO Fortnite take up arms to combat these new enemies, ending with a showdown with the new villain, The Storm King himself.

Dive into LEGO Fortnite Odyssey tomorrow, December 10.

What About Brick Tales?

Brick Tales is like a full-blown Grand Theft Auto-style mode within LEGO Fortnite. It lets you live a whole second life within a LEGO city called Brick Bay.

The teaser trailer above begins by showcasing a wide variety of vehicles to get around in, including bikes and fancy cars. Of course, you could always walk.

We then move onto a range of activities you can perform. You can work out in the gym, perform a full-blown bank heist, or build your own home. If you fancy yourself as something of an interior decorator, you can design the inside of your home too.

Then, it gets a little weird. There’s a disco, then a haunted house, and a beach you can lounge on. You can play pranks on your friends or ride around on a hoverboard.

We’ll learn more about Brick Tales when it launches on December 12.
