Garena Free Fire has announced its ‘biggest ever anime IP collaboration’ with none other than Naruto Shippuden. It kicks off this weekend, and runs all of the way through to February 8.
The crossover impacts all aspects of the game, including Battle Royale, Clash Squad, and a series of bundles and collectibles available in the store. This includes a brand new feature, the ‘Super Emote’.
Heck, even while chilling in the menu screen you can listen to the Naruto main theme music. It’s literally infected every aspect of the game.
Garena Free Fire x Naruto Shippuden Event Details
The Garena Free Fire x Naruto Shippuden crossover event begins on January 10, today, and ends on February 8.
Log in to get the Hidden Leaf Village Headband and Avatar for free, with more to arrive down the line.
Hidden Leaf Village in Bermuda
Play Battle Royale and you can visit Hidden Leaf Village itself in the Bermuda map. It features fan-favourite locations, including the Hokage Rock, Ichiraku Ramen Shop, and Hokage Mansion.
You can grab yourself an EP auto-grow buff for the entire match if you grab yourself some noodles, which is pretty nifty.
Nine Tails Encounter
While on the plane, you can gain a special encounter with Nine Tails themselves. They will strike one of three different locations, which provides gameplay changes each match.
We won’t spoil them for you.
New Revival Mechanics and Airdrops
If you die, your team mate can revive you via the Summoning Reanimation Jutsu, which provides you with stronger default equipment than regular revival points.
You can also grab Ninjutsu Scroll Airdrops in Clash Squad, as well as participate in Jutsu-related gameplay mechanics.
Naruto-Themed Store Bundles and Collectibles
Lastly, there’s the stuff that you don’t get for free. That includes the following character bundles:
