How To Unlock Kagune in GHOUL://RE
To unlock Kagune, you’ll need 5,000 RC Cells and B+ rating to stabilize. The more RC you have, the stronger you become. You can boost your RC by eating, whether it’s humans or other Ghouls; your RC level will rise over time. But be careful, because when you die, you’ll lose some of your RC.
As you get closer to unlocking your Kagune, you’ll hear your heartbeat speed up during fights. When your RC is high enough, your Kagune will automatically awaken once your health drops below 50%.
However, if you’re not strong enough yet (below a B+ rating), your Kagune will be unstable. An unstable Kagune is weaker, has no special abilities, and will drain your hunger to use it. Once you become B+ rated, your Kagune will stabilize and become much stronger.
How To Evolve Kagune in GHOUL://RE
As a Ghoul, the more you eat, the stronger your Kagune gets. Over time, it’ll start changing shape and evolving. Every Kagune has at least two stages, but some can go even further. At first, the differences won’t be huge, but the more you evolve it, the better the chances of unlocking completely new moves.
To evolve your Kagune, you need to:
- Boost your RC cells – Every Kagune has a certain RC count you need to hit before it can evolve.
- Eat Kagune Sacs and Fragments – The type of Kagune you have (Rinkaku, Bikaku, Koukaku, or Ukaku) decides what fragments you need to consume.
- Eat another Ghoul – Yeah, you gotta go full cannibal. The Ghoul you eat needs to have at least a third of the RC cells required for your evolution.

Kagune V2 Requirements
The amount of RC you need to unlock your Kagune’s second version (V2) depends on its rarity:
- Legendary Kagune – Requires 200k to 350k+ RC
- Rare Kagune – Requires 150k to 200k+ RC
- Common Kagune – Requires 150k to 200k+ RC
How to Unlock V2:
- Reach B+ Rating and fully master your Kagune.
- Gather enough RC and consume the required Fragments (Kagune Sacs help too).
- Defeat and eat another Ghoul who has at least 1/3 of your RC.
Not all Kagune have a V2, but most do. The ones confirmed to have V2 are Ken, Takizawa, Noro, Wing, and Nishio.
