Wondering how to get the Scalpel in GHOUL://RE, or whether or not it’s even worth it? Well, we’re here to help you with just that. In this guide, we’re going to teach you everything you need to know about the mysterious weapon, including how to get it, its list of abilities, and a breakdown of its pros and cons.

GHOUL://RE Scalpel Guide

Below, you can learn everything you need to know about the GHOUL://RE Scalpel, including how to get it, the abilities it offers, and whether or not it’s worth it.

How to Get the Scalpel in GHOUL://RE

Getting the Scalpel in GHOUL://RE is deceptively simple – provided you are a member of the CCG. So start by joining that organisation.

Now, head on over to the CCG hub area, look for an elevator, and head into a room nearby, You will find an NPC who, if you speak to them, will sell you the Scalpel. It costs 500 Yen, so make sure you’ve saved up that much money before heading over there to avoid disappointment.

GHOUL://RE Scalpel Abilities

Once you have the Scalpel, you can expect to utilise the following abilities:

AbilityDescription
Salty BloodPrevents your opponents from restoring their health.
Debilitating SlashA powerful slash attack that you can almost spam.
Mountain NorsePrevents your opponents from using their weapon.
Echoes of the Chakra ScalpelDeal damage to an opponent and stun them for a short duration.

Is the Scalpel Worth It?

That depends on the mode you’re currently playing. If you’re farming in PvE, there are better options than the Scalpel, given that it’s DPS falls short of the best Quinque (you can learn more about these with our GHOUL://RE Quinque tier list).

However, if you plan on specialising in, or spending a bunch of time playing PvP, we thoroughly recommend using the Scalpel. You can absolutely devastate your opponent by stripping their ability to heal and use weapons, as well as stun them to disrupt attacks or leave them open to follow-ups.

It’s also not terrible in the DPS department thanks to Debilitating Slash, which is almost spammable thanks to its low cooldown.
