How To Get Quinque in GHOUL://RE
Quinque are only given to investigators ranked 1 and higher (Requires 2.5k Yen as well). Since new recruits need a way to protect themselves from Ghouls, the “Standard Issue” program was created.
Once you become a Rank 1 Investigator, the CCG will let you get a real Quinque. This won’t be easy, and you’ll need to pay ¥1.5k. After meeting the requirements, talk to the NPC at the CCG base to get a “Briefcase” item.
To unlock your Quinque, you must find a Ghoul that has unlocked their Kagune. When they are knocked down, use the Briefcase on them. If you do this successfully, you’ll get a random Quinque.
This program makes three simple weapons using Quinque steel, but without a Kakuhou. These weapons are weaker but easy to use, and each has a special attack. All new CCG investigators get one, but they cost ¥100 each.
Standard Issue Quinque:
- Tsunagi – A simple Katana with a special attack that fakes a slash. The user steps back, then quickly strikes with a surprise attack.
- Ifraft & Abksol – A pair of Daggers with a special spinning slash. After a downslam, the user teleports and attacks.
- Senza – A balanced Spear with a strong thrust. If used after a running attack, it causes one of three effects: hunger loss, healing block, or stopping an enemy’s Kagune from working.
