The Admin War update for Grow a Garden is finally here, and with it comes one of the coolest rewards we’ve seen so far: the Brainrot Pets. These aren’t just cosmetic companions. Each one has special abilities that can shake up how you grow, mutate, and manage your garden. If you want the Lemon Lion, Apple Gazelle, and Peach Wasp, here’s everything you need to know.
How to Unlock the Brainrot Pets in Grow a Garden
The only way to get these pets is by joining the Admin War event, which kicks off on August 23, 2025, at 7:00 AM PT. Once the event is live, you’ll need to hop in, take part in the admin-led activities, and complete certain tasks.
The important thing to note is that these pets are event exclusives. If you miss the Admin War, you miss out. They won’t be available in normal gameplay. So, if you’re serious about collecting every pet or just want some unique abilities in your lineup, make sure to log in early and join the event.
All Brainrot Pets and Their Abilities in Grow a Garden
Here’s a closer look at what each Brainrot Pet does:
Lemon Lion
- Brain-Roar: Roars and mutates a random fruit with the Brainrot mutation
- Citrus Roar: Occasionally gives bonus experience to one of your pets
Think of Lemon Lion as your loud, mutation-happy buddy. Great for shaking things up in your garden.
Apple Gazelle
- Apple Harvester: Any fruit with “apple” in its name has a 4–7% chance to duplicate when you collect it
- Sugar Warp: Harvesting Sugar Apples has a 2–4% chance to warp a random fruit in your garden
Apple Gazelle is perfect if you’re farming apples and want to squeeze out extra resources (and a little chaos).
Peach Wasp
- Peach Pollinator: Every 1500–200s, it will plasmafy a nearby fruit, giving it the Plasma mutation
- Peach Stinger: Every 602–300s, it stings one of your pets, pushing their ability cooldown forward by 60–120s
Peach Wasp is a mix of helpful and slightly annoying. It is powerful for mutations, but you’ll have to work around those surprise stings.
If you like collecting rare pets or want to try out some new strategies in Grow a Garden, the Admin War is worth your time. The Brainrot Pets aren’t just fun to show off. They come with abilities that can really change how you play.
