What is the DJ Jhai Event in Grow a Garden?
DJ Jhai is a party event in Grow a Garden that was introduced right before the Friendship update on June 7, 2025. During this event, the normal lobby turned into a party area, which was hosted by a DJ named Jhai, a fictional NPC.
As a result, the typical garden theme transformed into the disco theme, creating a lively atmosphere for the players.
The best part was that DJ Jhai wasn’t just there to stand around—he actually played a lot of party music and, surprisingly, meme sounds too, which quickly caught the attention of many players.
Many players on the Reddit also suggested that it triggered a new custom Disco weather, though we’ve not been able to verify this thing.
So far, we’ve only observed that DJ Jhai is currently present in Grow a Garden to play party music. That’s it. He serves no other purpose that will affect the gameplay.
However, it’s quite possible that the game developers will assign him a few interactable elements to make the event more interesting.
How to Participate in the DJ Jhai Event
To participate in the DJ Jhai event, all you have to do is log into your Roblox account and open Grow a Garden. You’ll find the disco stage along with DJ Jhai playing the music right in the center of the lobby.
Please note: Keep in mind that the event is randomly triggered by the game Admin. Therefore, you won’t always encounter it.
Thankfully, there are no minimum requirements for this event, which means new players can also hop into this event right away.
