How to Get Corruption Points in Grow a Garden
You can’t earn Corruption Points just by planting anything. You have to first get a Tranquil-mutated fruit, which is basically a special type of crop glowing with calm energy. Here’s how you get started:

- Tranquil fruits can be obtained using a few different tools or events in the game:
- Zen Aura event (happens regularly)
- Tranquil Staff
- Tranquil Spray
- Tranquil Pets like Tanchozuru
- Once you have a Tranquil fruit in hand, walk up to the Corrupt Channeller, who stands near the Corrupted Tree.
- Press the E key to interact. If the fruit meets the NPC’s current requirement, you’ll see an option called “Submit requirement.” Click it.
- After handing over the fruit, you’ll have to spend Sheckles (the in-game currency) to finalize the submission.
- For each correct fruit submitted, you’ll get 1 Corruption Point. Then, repeat the cycle: grow more Tranquil fruits, bring them to the NPC, and spend more Sheckles.
How to Grow the Corrupted Tree
The Corrupted Tree sits directly across from the Zen Tree in the garden. As you earn and submit Corruption Points, the tree slowly grows through various stages.
Whenever you give a Tranquil fruit and Sheckles, a few things happen: the Corruption Point counter on the board increases, and the tree in your garden starts to look different to show your progress.
There’s also a chance the NPC will give you a random reward. Every hour, the Corrupted Tree resets.
Just before it does, it spreads Corrupt mutations to some of your crops. The more Corruption Points you’ve collected before the reset, the more mutated fruits you’ll automatically receive.
