It’s no secret that you have to grind for hours just to make a few billion shekels in Grow a Garden. Thankfully, right now, there’s a glitch that’s letting players make trillions with zero real effort. It all comes down to one thing: the Junkbot Pet.
How This All Started
This wasn’t even part of the new cooking update. The Junkbot situation actually kicked off right before the update dropped, during one of those wild admin events. If you’ve ever been in one, you know the deal. Random weather changes, weird seeds popping up, and just general chaos.
This time, it was extra special because Flamingo, the massive Roblox YouTuber, was there. Towards the end of the event, Flamingo basically called out the devs like, “Hey, you forgot to give everyone my pet.” And just like that, anyone in the server at that exact moment got two Junkbot Pets for free.
Only about 7–8 million people got them. That sounds like a lot until you realize Grow a Garden pulls millions of visits every single day. Meaning a massive chunk of the player base didn’t get one, and now they want it. Badly.
Why the Junkbot is Worth Hoarding
The Junkbot itself isn’t some god-tier farming machine. Its ability is alright as it has a 15 percent chance every 15 minutes to turn a nearby fruit into an Oil Mutation, which gives that fruit a ×15 multiplier. That’s cool, but let’s be honest, we’re not here for the ability.
The real money is in the pet’s rarity. It’s basically a collector’s item now. Think about the Cooked Owl or the Chicken Zombie. Both were free event pets once upon a time, and both now trade for absolutely ridiculous amounts. The Chicken Zombie is currently valued at around 625 trillion shekels. The Cooked Owl? 75 trillion. And that’s after just about a month.
The Mistake Everyone’s Making Right Now
Here’s where people are blowing it. Right now, a lot of new or impatient players are selling their Junkbots for 1 or 2 trillion because they want quick cash. I get it, that’s still a lot of money, but it’s pocket change compared to where the price is headed.
Smart players are doing the opposite by buying up every cheap Junkbot they can find and just letting them sit in their inventory. The longer you wait, the higher the value climbs. This isn’t even risky. There’s literally no way to get more of these unless someone trades you theirs, so supply is permanently capped.
Why This is Basically Free Money
I wouldn’t even call it a “glitch” in the traditional sense. It’s more like the economy got blindsided by an event pet drop and now prices are going to skyrocket. You’re not exploiting the game, you’re just being smart about supply and demand.
If you’ve got a Junkbot, hang on to it. If you don’t have one, try to buy it from players who don’t know any better. And if we ever get another limited-time pet in the future, remember this lesson and grab as many as you can before they disappear.
Honestly, it feels weird to say this about a Roblox farming game, but the Junkbot Pet is the closest thing you’ll get to an actual investment. It’s low risk, high reward, and about as close to “free money” as it gets in Grow a Garden.
