There’s a big bug going around in Grow a Garden that’s changing how people play the game. It’s being called the “Nihonzaru Glitch” or the “Nuranu Bug” by players.

This glitch lets some pet abilities, which are normally slow and limited, activate much more often than they’re supposed to. Instead of waiting 10 or 15 minutes for a pet skill to work again, players are seeing cooldowns drop to just a few seconds.

This means certain pets can spam their powers over and over, giving players a huge advantage. Here’s how you can do the Nihonzaru Glitch, too, in Grow a Garden.

How To Do Nihonzaru Glitch in Grow a Garden

The glitch mainly involves a pet called Nuranu, a few hot springs, and a special pet like the Mimic Octopus. The Mimic Octopus is popular because it copies the powers of other pets, so making it trigger more often is very powerful.

To do the glitch, you must follow these steps:

  1. Get at least three Nuranu pets and a few hot springs.
  2. Place all the hot springs in your garden first.
  3. Add the pet you want to glitch, such as the Mimic Octopus, and wait for its passive ability timer to reach exactly 1 minute and 5 seconds.
  4. When the timer hits that mark, quickly place all your Nuranu pets into the garden.
  5. Just before the timer hits 1 second, remove all the Nuranu pets.

If done right, the pet’s cooldown timer resets to a much lower number. You can repeat this process again and again to keep the cooldown short. But if you leave the server, the effect goes away.

Alternative (AFK) Method

There’s also a simpler method. Place three Nuranu pets and three hot springs, then log off for three hours. When you return, place your chosen pet and re-add the Nuranus. Sometimes, the cooldown will already be very low. This method is less reliable but easier to try.
