As you progress in Jujutsu Odyssey, you earn skill points that you can spend on a variety of skill paths to increase your stats in a number of different areas. These include boosting your melee prowess, weapon proficiency, health, and cursed energy. In this guide, we’ve listed all of the skills you can progress down, as well as what you can expect from them.
Jujutsu Odyssey Skills
Melee Proficiency (Red)
The Melee Proficiency path in Jujutsu Odyssey focuses on dealing damage with your fists and feet, as oppose to weapons.
Skill | Description |
Melee Proficiency I – V | Increases your melee damage. |
Hurricane Handstand | Perform a handstand and spin, knocking back nearby enemies. |
Mode (Dark Blue)
The Mode path increases duration of any mode you can use in the Jujutsu Odyssey.
Skill | Description |
Mode Increase I – III | Increases the duration of all modes. |
Weapon Proficiency (Orange)
Weapon Proficiency is a similar path to Melee, except it focuses on fighting with weapons.
Skill | Description |
Weapon Proficiency I – V | Increases your weapon damage output. |
Health (Green)
Health does what it says on the tin. This path boosts your HP, helping you to stay in the fight longer. It also boosts your block bar.

Sturdiness I – III | Increases your block bar |
Cursed Energy (Blue)
A lot of these paths are pretty self-explanatory, huh? Cursed Energy increases your maximum Cursed Energy, as well as provides you with a unique buff.

Cursed Energy Surge | Temporarily increases your Cursed Energy output by 30% and provides a 20% reduction in damage you receive |
Pure Cursed Energy (Yellow)
The Yellow Path doesn’t provide any passive abilities, but instead grants you three skills that require Cursed Energy to utilise.
To unlock all of the below skills, you need to defeat Finger Bearer in-game.
Skill | Description |
Hex Sphere | Fire a powerful attack directly forward. |
Malice Stream | Surge forward and deal damage. |
Kamikaze | Deal an incredibly powerful AoE attack. |
Binding Vows
Binding Vows are an ability you can use to provide you with a specific buff while in combat.
Skill | Description |
Vital Convergence | Swap 20% HP for 50% Cursed Energy. |
Destroy My Enemies and My Technique is Yours | Melee attacks deal double damage for five seconds but you can’t use skills. |
Glass Cannon Pact | Deal double Cursed Energy damage for five seconds, but take double damage too. |
All or Nothing | The next enemy you kill over 60 seconds has a 50% chance to give you double XP or no XP. |
Karmic Reversal | Negate damage for five seconds but become temporarily vulnerable when it ends. |
Mastery Roulette | The next enemy you kill over 60 seconds has a 50% chance to give you double mastery, or no mastery. |
Golden Gamble | The next enemy you kill over 60 seconds has a 50% chance to give you double gold, or no gold. |
