In the latest Jujutsu Shenanigans update, v1.50, the development team introduced a whole new character to the mix: Defense Attorney. As you may have already guessed, this hammer-wielding warrior of justice draws inspiration from Hiromi Higurama, the former baddie turned goodie.
So let’s take a look at everything you need to know about the new character, including how to play as them, their full moveset, and everything else you need to know.
Jujutsu Shenanigans Defense Attorney Guide

Extended Swings (Special Variant) | Use your special before the last hit of Extended Swings and you will sweep the handle of your hammer to interrupt your opponent’s counter, stunning them temporarily. | 15 (reduces to 5 if blocked) | 12 seconds | – Blockable – Interruptible |
Justice Served | Punch forward three times then hit your opponent with your gavel. Press special before the last hit to extend the gavel swing to hit opponents to your side. | 18 | 16 seconds | – Blockable – Interruptible |

Awakening Moves
Sadly, Defense Attorney doesn’t have an Awakening right now. That will likely change when the character leaves Early Access, at which point we’ll update this guide.

Extended Swings Finisher | After the three hammer swings, deal an overhead hammer blow that crushes the opponent’s head. | Instant Kill | 12 seconds | Blockable |

- Switcher
- Defense Attorney
Who is Defense Attorney Based On?
Defense Attorney draws inspiration from the Jujutsu Kaisen character Hiromi Higuruma. If you’re familiar with the anime series, you will know that this character started as a villain but turned into an ally.
Hiromi is a former lawyer who is now a sorcerer. During his days in law, he preferred to take on extremely challenging cases where he felt that the defendant had been improperly judged. That doesn’t sound very villainous to us!
Is Defense Attorney Worth it?
While we need to wait and see Defense Attorney’s Awakening before we can truly judge (teehee) this character, there’s a strong base here.
The base moveset deals considerable damage, and has a lot of utility, including stuns, counter blocks, and interrupts. You can also change up the last hit on many of your moves, providing you with an opportunity to confuse PvP opponents.
We’ll wait and see, but we reckon this character will be a bit of a powerhouse when they arrive in the full game.
