The latest Lost Ark patch notes are in, though the update itself won’t arrive until October 30 at 12:00 AM PT / 7:00 AM UTC. Following a lengthy maintenance lasting around five hours, Lost Ark will introduce a brand new Mokoko Bootcamp Event and the ability to transfer from Ignite to Legacy servers.
How Long Will the Lost Ark Maintenance Downtime Last?
- Begins: October 30 at 12:00 AM PT / 7:00 AM UTC
- Ends: October 30 at 5:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM UTC
Lost Ark will enter a maintenance period on October 30 at 12:00 AM PT / 7:00 AM UTC, lasting five hours. Maintenance will then end at roughly 5:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM UTC the same day.
It will introduce a brand new event, which will run through to January, as well as the ability to transfer from Ignite to Legacy servers.
Mokoko Bootcamp Event
- Begins: October 30 at 5:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM UTC
- Ends: January 15, time TBD
- What: New and Veteran players complete dungeons together to earn rewards
The Mokoko Bootcamp Event encourages veteran players to help newcomers run the various dungeons Lost Ark has to offer. This is a really nice touch, which will hopefully reduce toxicity when new players try to explore dungeon content for the first time.
What’s the Criteria For a New Player?
You have to meet one of the following conditions to be considered a ‘new’ player:
- The highest Item Level character on your account is below 1,660
- Your account was created within the event period
- You started within 60 days before the event
- You last logged in over 60 days before the event
If you’re eligible to participate, you will have a green leaf icon next to your name in the recruitment panel. This will remain until the event ends, or you achieve over 1,660 Item Level.
What Rewards Do Veteran Players Get?
Everyone else is considered a ‘Veteran Player’. You only need one newbie and one veteran player in your dungeon party to be eligible for the rewards.
Teaming up provides you with Mokoko or Expert Tokens if you’re new or veteran respectively. You can then exchange these for rewards.
Expert rewards primarily help Veterans reach Tier 4 and access endgame items, while Mokoko rewards provide a general overview of progression within the game.
To show off, you can even earn a Mokoko General title to reveal to other players that you helped new players progress through dungeons.
Ignite Server Transfers
- Begins: October 30 at 5:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM UTC
- Ends: November 27
- What: Transfer from Ignite to Legacy servers
As soon as the update drops, you can transfer from Ignite to Legacy servers via one of two different methods:
- Roster: Transfer your roster level to a server without one, along with youyr chosen character
- Character: Merge your Ignite character into an existing roster
