Jagex has been teasing the introduction of the Royal Titans for some time now. As of today, February 5, the challenging Duo Boss has finally made it into the game after passing the poll with a resounding yes from the community.
For those unaware, the Royal Titans are a dual-boss encounter that you can tackle alongside your friends. You can find them north west of the Asgarnia Ice Dungeon in a small cave right by the throne of ice.
Get there and you will encounter Eldric and Branda, a fire and frost giant duo that require advanced combat mechanics to defeat.
What Advanced Mechanics Do I Need to Learn?
More specifically, we’re talking about gear switching. As the battle progresses, you will need to swap between melee, magic, and ranged to keep dealing damage as the arena changes.
Jagex recommends being around level 70 level for magic, melee, and ranged to participate, and buddy up with a few friends. You’ll also want strong gear around the same level, with Jagex recommending:
- Perilous Moons
- Black Dragonhide
- Mystic Robes
- Abyssal Whip
- Rune Crossbow
OSRS Royal Titans Rewards
Beat the titans and you can get yourself some nifty unique rewards. These include a new staff, scroll, amulet, pet, and crafting materials. Let’s take a look at them in closer detail:
Twinflame Staff
You have to craft the Twinflame Staff using drops that you can only get from the Royal Titans. Or, you can just purchase them as they’re fully tradable.
It’s a super effective staff that automatically selects an opponent’s elemental weakness when you attack, allowing you to deal more damage.

Deadeye Prayer Scroll
This scroll provides you with a brand new prayer, Deadeye. This sits between Eagle Eye and Rigour and provides you with the following bonuses:
- +18% Ranged Attack
- +18% Ranged Strength
- +5% Defence
Mystic Vigour Prayer Scroll
Much like Deadeye, Mystic Vigour is an upgrade on a previous prayer. It sits between Mystic Might and Augury, and provides you with the following bonuses:
- +18% Magic Attack
- +18% Magic Defence
- +3% Magic Damage
- +5% Defence
Giantsoul Amulet
This amulet allows you to teleport directly to the Royal Titans, so you can fight them all over again with greater ease.
Dessicated Pages
Dessicated Pages are a new drop that you can turn into Burnt, Soaked, or Soiled Pages. Thanks to them, the Royal Titans will provide a reliable method to get pages that you need.
Pet
Lastly, we have the Royal Titans pet, which Jagex wants you to discover for yourself. There’s a very low drop rate here, though you can ‘Sacrifice’ your loot to double your chances.
