PUBG Mobile has just introduced the brand new mode, Icemire Frontier. In time for winter, it provides an icey wasteland to explore as you strive to survive.
Icemire Frontier takes place in Frostheim, which seems to draw a ton of inspiration from the Vikings and Norse Mythology.
The teaser trailer, which we’ve included below, shows an intense battle scene between medieval combatants and a variety of mythical monsters. There’s even a dragon made out of ice.
One of the combatants hurls a hammer that looks suspiciously like Thor’s, shattering the dragon.
What is Icemire Frontier?
Icemire Frontier is a brand new mode in PUBG Mobile that takes you to the suitably-titled ‘Frostheim’. Here, you will participate in a bunch of new gameplay mechanics as you strive for victory.
These include searching for rare ice crystals in the Magic Crystal Mine and battling a frozen dragon in the Dragon’s Lair.

You can visit the Arctic Altar and Frostfire Altar to grab new supplies and weapons. These include the Frostsoul Spear and Frostsoul Warhammer, melee weapons that provide a nice bonus when used:
Weapon | Effect |
Frostsoul Spear | Aerial Slowing Strike |
Frostsoul Warhammer | Ice Wall Generation |
