Due to popular demand, Krafton is no longer killing off the Hot Drop mode it introduced with PUBG update 32.2. Instead, it’s going to be a permanent mode you can play in the Arcade.

To celebrate the addition, Krafton is releasing a brand new song inspired by Hot Drop. It was produced in collaboration with the composer and DJ R. Tee, and aims to capture how the mode plays with the power of music.

Hot Drop returns later in December for PC users, and in January on console. It won’t be exactly the same as the original, with a few adjustments to help make the mode a little more balanced.

When Does Hot Drop Release in the Arcade?

  • PC: December 18
  • Console: January 23

Hot Drop has a staggered release across the PC and console versions of PUBG. It launches on December 18 on PC, and January 23 on console. That’s alongside update 33.2.
