Everyone’s partnering with Marvel these days, eh? First it was Fortnite and now Rocket League is at it. To celebrate its annual Halloween event, Haunted Hallows, the football racing game has teamed up with Spider-Man to bring you new toppers, decals, and more.
That’s right: you can dress up your car like your favourite Spider-Man villain, including Venom, Mysterio, and the Green Goblin, Or, you could just go all basic and make it look like Spider-Man. We won’t judge.
In terms of gameplay, there are two limited time modes making a return, and a spooky makeover for one of your favourite maps. Let’s take a look at the bunch.

When Does the Rocket League Haunted Hallows Event Begin?
The Haunted Hallows event in Rocket League kicks off on October 18, ending on November 4.
Haunted Hallows Challenges and Rewards
The Halloween event features 13 challenges to complete, and you can earn cosmetics for beating them. Here’s a list of rewards:
- Goblin Glider Topper
- Pumpkin Bomb Boost
- Morbius Decal
- Mysterio Wheels
- Symbiote Trail
- Symbiote Player Banner
- Symbiote Avatar Border
In addition to the cosmetic rewards, you can also bag yourself a Golden Pumpkin ’24. This serves as a chest, which you can open to grab items from the Zephyr, Player’s Choice, and Overdrive Series.
To grab one of these, you need to play at least 15 matches online. You can earn a total of five Golden Pumpkins via this method, as well as 20k XP every time you win ten online matches.

Spooky Cube and Haunted Heatseeker LTMs Return
The two limited time modes from previous Haunted Hallows events make a return: Spooky Cube and Haunted Heetseeker.
Spooky Cube trades the ball for a cube-shaped pumpkin that has a mind of its own. It doesn’t want to go in the goal, you see, so it will fly away from you and the other players. You have to speed around chasing it, and try and score.

Haunted Heatseeker plays more like traditional Rocket League, except ghosts mess with your fun. You might be speeding towards your opponent’s goal, ready to blast it in the back of the net. Then suddenly a ghost smashes it back into the middle.
If your opponent then blocks the ghost’s shot, it ricochets right back at your goal. So you have to really pay attention and get ready to defend at a moment’s notice.
Oh, and you can play both of these new modes in the dark and scary version of Drift Woods.
