Rocket League Previously Announced RLCS 2025 Format Changes

  • $5,000,000 prize pool
  • Additional 1v1 Series
  • Online Last Chance Qualifiers
  • 20 Teams at Worlds

Back when RLCS 2024 ended, Rocket League announced a series of changes for RLCS 2025. This includes a much bigger prize pool of $5,000,000, a new 1v1 format to sit alongside the 3v3 series, and a last chance open.

1v1 will follow the same format as 3v3, with Open Qualifiers in all of the same regions, cash prizes awarded to the top teams, and winners of Major 1 and 2 progressing to a grand final. The schedule will allow for you to participate in both 3v3 and 1v1, and multiple players from the same group can enter.

A Last Chance Open Qualifiers will allow one team each from the four strongest regions (by average performance) to qualify for the Rocket League World Championship. This will take place after Major 2.

Also, the top eight teams from each of the Open Qualifiers will progress to a later stage of the subsequent Open Qualifier. These changes allow the Rocket League World Championship to feature 20 teams!
