However, figuring out the best characters is no easy task as there are plenty of options available. Special Grade Sorcerer Characters Tier List
There are over 30 characters in Special Grade Sorcerer and here’s how they performed during our testing:
- S-Tier: Panda, Maki, Todo, Yuta [Rika], Nobara, Sukuna [Yuji], Toge, Haruta, Masamichi, Utahime, Yuji, Mahito, Satoru [Young], Megumi, Kento, Shoko, Momo, Geto [Student]
- A-Tier: Tapir, Keshin Tamamo no Mae, Dagon, Mei Mei, Yoshinobu, Kasumi, Mantis, Eso, Jogo, Miguel, Hanami, Noritoshi, Mechamaru, Finger Bearers
- B-Tier: Mai, Meltdown, Yuji [Young], Cyclone, Kechizu, Yeti
- C-Tier: Mantis, Lizard, Roppongi Curse, Junpei
- D-Tier: Fangs, Licker, Fly Heads
The above tier list is based on the author’s opinions. Although you should always use the S-tier characters, we also encourage you to test all the options and use the ones you are comfortable playing with.
If you’re after the best characters, Panda, Maki and Todo are some of the top choices. As for the worst characters in Special Grade Sorcerer, Fangs, Licker, and Fly Heads don’t stack up well. Their abilities are weak and not very flexible, so they’re not as useful compared to the stronger characters in the game.

B-Tier characters are just okay. These are solid and do their job well but they’re more like sidekicks.
C Tier

C-Tier characters are below average. They work for beginners but won’t hold up long-term.

D-Tier characters are the worst in the game which is why we highly recommend staying away from them even if you’re a beginner.
