Guys, wake up – the new Stalcraft: X patch notes are in! The latest update is pretty exciting too, as it introduces a host of changes to the open world survival game. The most notable? Well, the Covenent finally has its own unique peresvet jumpsuit model. Check them out in all of their chibi glory.

But wait, there’s more! In terms of quality of life improvements, your personal storage has a search bar. Now you don’t have to scour through it to find that one item you’ve been looking for. You can also quickly search for items at the auction, too. No matter where you’re looking, the act itself is now much easier.
Speaking of ease, quick access menu now allows you to add more items. Now, you can whack in plates, backpacks, and artifact containers.
So it’s All Good News For Stalcraft: X Then?
It’s not all good news though. That generous ‘Explorer Bonus’, which has been in place for the first four weeks of the current season? Yeah, that’s getting a reduction. Each stage will now reward 350 Season Points per day, reducing the total maximum to 1,750, down from 2,500. Stalcraft: X will revive the original bonus for the first two weeks of future seasons though, so it’s not all bad.

Let’s talk balance. Stopping Power is getting a minor nerf to its speed penalty, with a maximum of -60%, down from -70%. The CD-4 armoured suit gets a hitbox increase, from small to medium, and the super-heavy armoured suits are gaining additional bullet resistance to help make them more worthwhile. Flamethrowers are getting a buff to damage, while the AMB-17 is getting a minor damage debuff.
There are too many to list here, but consumables and sniper rifles across the board are getting buffs and debuffs across the board. In terms of the latter, 9×39 are generally getting a nerf to long distance efficiency, while SVD-M, Mk 14 EBR, WA2000, and bolt-action options are getting buffs.
The Stalcraft: X Patch Notes Include New Content
What about additions? Well, there are a bunch of new crafting recipes:

And new crafting options for:
- Ammonia

That’s just the tip of the iceberg though, with a host of changes to crafting recipes across the board. You can now stack more items in storage, crafting item prices have changed, and spawn rates for items have been adjusted.
What’s Going On Over in Subdivision Battles?
Finally, subdivision battles have seen a bunch of changes. The attendance requirement for the sasonal reward has reduced from 50% to 25% of stages attended, base captures and tournaments now count towards the reward, and your count no longer resets when you leave the subdivision. You just have to be a member of the division to get the reward.

The 24 hour waiting period for promotion after joining a division has been scrapped, and you can now add five more players to a level three subdivision. Structures now have hitmarkers when you hit them, you gain points for dealing damage to them, and you can dismantle friendly outposts to transfer them to your inventory. Or destroy them.
It’s a pretty hefty update, then. You can check out the full details in the patch notes on Steam.
