In an unlikely crossover, Warframe has teamed up with Epic Games to introduce a number of Unreal Tournament themed skins. Why? To celebrate Warframe 1999.
For those unaware, before Fortnite or Call of Duty were a thing, kids across the globe were hooked on Unreal Tournament. With good reason too: it was an incredible arena shooter, with arguably the best rocket launcher ever to grace a video game.
The crossover is perhaps less random when you consider that the OG Unreal Tournament launched in 1999. If you’re going to pick a game to crossover with from that year, what’s better than the best online shooter?
How to Get the Warframe Unreal Tournament Skins
That’s the easy part: the skins are free to everyone who logs into Warframe between December 9 – 23. Call it an early Christmas present.
If you do somehow miss out on the event, you can grab them all as a bundle in the in-game market. It will cost a mere credit, so you won’t have to break the bank to get it.
