New COPYCAT Style Overview

What Is the Copycat Style?

Copycat is exactly what it sounds like. A style that lets you mirror your opponent’s best moves in real time, turning their own weapons against them. Picture this. You drain a clean three-pointer, then steal your opponent’s signature dunk right after. You’re not locked into one playstyle anymore. With Copycat, you become a threat from anywhere, using the exact tools your opponents thought made them unstoppable.

It’s the ultimate flex.

The First Ability – “Copycat Style”

Now the first move is just called “Copycat Style” and don’t let the simple name fool you. While it doesn’t yet fully mimic other players’ moves, it oozes Kise energy.

The animation is flashy, confident, and stylish. Your character drops into a low dribble stance, weaving the ball between their legs at high speed, dripping with swagger. It doesn’t break ankles outright, but it clearly messes with defenders’ timing and opens the door for slick step-backs or combo plays.

This isn’t about turning the court into chaos. It’s about controlling it with finesse.

The Awakening – Real Flow State

When the awakening kicks in, things get wild. The camera pulls out, the pacing shifts, and your player enters a state of flow, weaving past defenders with zero resistance. You’re not fighting your way to the hoop anymore. You’re moving like you already know the outcome.

It ends with a self alley-oop. Your character tosses the ball, leaps, catches it mid-air, and finishes with a one-handed dunk that looks ripped straight out of an anime episode. The screen flashes. The camera shakes. There are slow-motion cuts like a finisher in a fighting game.

What Might Be Coming Next?

Only two moves are confirmed right now, but if the devs really follow the blueprint of Kise’s style, Copycat could become one of the most unpredictable and dangerous styles in the game.
