The world of Black Beacon is filled to the brim with several obstacles, which is why you must be playing the best characters to overcome all the hurdles. However, with so many characters to choose from, figuring out the best one isn’t a piece of cake. Therefore, we’ve got you covered with the Black Beacon tier list ranking all the characters from best to worst based on their abilities.
Black Beacon Tier List
We’ve explored a total of 17 playable characters in the game’s beta version and here’s how they performed during our test:
S-Tier
S-Tier characters are the strongest in the game. With these, you can easily crush any enemies you face. You won’t find anyone better so be sure to use them.
Character | Rarity | Element |
---|---|---|
Ereshan | 5-star | Dark |
Florence | 5-star | Fire |
Nanna | 5-star | Dark |
Viola | 5-star | Thunder |
A-Tier
A-Tier characters are solid picks if you don’t want to aim for the absolute best. If you can’t get the top-tier characters, these are a great backup. They’re still super strong so don’t worry about the lower rank.
Character | Rarity | Element |
---|---|---|
Zero | 4-star | Water |
Qing | 5-star | Water |
Li Chi | 5-star | Thunder |
Logos | 5-star | Light |
Ming | 4-star | Fire |
Asti | 4-star | Water |
B-Tier
B-Tier units are just okay. These characters are solid and do their job well but they’re more like sidekicks than main heroes. So if you want to progress further, you’ll need stronger ones.
Character | Rarity | Element |
---|---|---|
Hephae | 4-star | Fire |
Enki | 4-star | Water |
Azi | 4-star | Thunder |
Xin | 4-star | Thunder |
Ninsar | 4-star | Dark |
Wushi | 4-star | Dark |
C-Tier
C-Tier characters are below average. They work for beginners but won’t hold up long-term. If you need to fill a spot on your team, these characters will do but they don’t stand out or offer anything special.
Character | Rarity | Element |
---|---|---|
Shamash | 4-star | Light |
Xin | 4-star | Thunder |
D-Tier
D-Tier units are the worst in the game which is why we highly recommend staying away from them even if you’re a beginner.

The above tier list is based on the author’s opinions. Although you should always use the S-Tier characters, we also encourage you to test all the characters and use the ones you are comfortable playing with.
