Bachira x Otoya Chemical Reaction Explained
Inside the official Blue Lock Rivals Discord server, they hyped a new chemical reaction between Bachira and Otoya, and honestly that part kind of does look pretty fire.
What we see from the leaked footage is a flashy combo move, where Bachira sets up the pass, and Otoya finishes it off with some crazy, sideways kick, which is pretty much a cutscene-worthy shot.
If it works like the Sai x Shido chemical reaction (perfect pass + dragon drive), it will surely be a fan favorite in real matches. That’s the good news.
A chemical reaction between Bachira and Otoya has a lot of possibilities, especially since these two actually have played on the same NEL team in the manga. The animations look sleek, the move feels good to execute, and if the devs balance it right, it could be a cool new addition to team builds.
NEW Feature: AFK World
But now onto the part of the update that they aren’t exactly thrilled about: they are adding an AFK world.
Yup. An AFK world. The type of thing you’d think in a simulator game, not in a competitive soccer anime-based game.
It’s a spot where players can just have their game open and still get rewards for playing nothing. Sounds innocent at first until you realize it is a ploy to artificially inflate the game’s player count and engagement stats, all without actual gameplay.
The worrying thing here is that the devs are doing this in order to prioritize monetization over fun. And for a game created on hype, camaraderie, and competitive fervor, that is fairly a large red flag.
