Destiny 2 has finally unleashed Revenant Act II upon the masses, alongside a new Seasonal Pass, weapons, activities, fieldwork missions, and, well, everything you’d expect.

The lengthy patch notes that launched alongside it include bug fixes for seemingly the entire game. That’s alongside balance tweaks for various weapons and skills.

You can check out the full patch notes on the official Destiny 2 site. What we’re going to focus on here are the new features arriving in Revenant Act II.

What’s New – At A Glance

Bungie is keeping some of the new content a little under wraps, so we can’t go into full details. However, we’re going to start this article with everything that’s new:

  • Seasonal Pass
  • Artifact Perks
  • Tonics
  • Fieldwork Missions
  • Tomb of Elders
  • Gauntlet of Elders
  • Noxious Vetiver (Arc Precision Submachine Gun)
  • Scavenger’s Fate (Void Precision Shotgun)
  • Gridskipper (Void Rapid-Fire Pulse Rifle)

The Story Continues in the Tomb of Elders

Act II will pick up where the first left off, seeing you and your fellow Guardians head into the Tomb of Elders to simultaneously rescue all of the poor Eliksni prisoners while sabotaging Fikrul’s attempt at world domination.

Within the tomb you will face a variety of enemies, including the Scorn, Dread, Cabal, and Hive. Beat them and you can earn rewards, including a certain few new exotics…

Destiny 2 X Street Fighter 6

In the least likely, and possibly most random, crossover ever, Destiny 2 is teaming up with Street Fighter 6 to introduce a bunch of cosmetics.

The collaboration includes a Blanka-themed helmet, as well as Ghost shells, and a series of other cosmetics like finishers.

It’s all a bit random, but fine.

The Dawning Event Returns in December

Christmas is returning to Destiny 2 with The Dawning, the usual live service event that will return on December 10, running through to December 31.

Complete the event and you can earn the Mistral Lift Linear Fusion Rifle.
