As Epic Games promised, Fortnite simultaneous pass progression is still on track for December. However, today we learned of an exciting new addition. Namely, that the Fortnite Crew subscription now combines all four current passes, as well as any that arrive in the future, into a single purchase.
That means, if you’re a subscriver of Fortnite Crew, you don’t have to do anything. From December 1, you will simply gain access to all passes and you can progress them simultaneously just by playing the game.
Wait, All Passes For a Single Purchase?
Yes, that’s correct: the Battle Pass, LEGO Pass, Rocket Pass and Music Pass are now all included in the subscription. That’s alongside all of the usual benefits, including:
- 1,000 V-Bucks
- Crew Pack
Alongside simultaneous pass progression, this means that starting December 1, with a full subscription, you can progress all passes at the same time regardless of what mode you enjoy playing. That means more rewards than ever before.
You can still purchase all of the passes separately using V-Bucks if you’d like as well. You don’t have to buy Fortnite Crew, but it is the more affordable option if you regularly purchase it.
What About Future Passes, Like Fortnote OG?
Epic Games has confirmed that any future passes will automatically join Fortnite Crew, and that includes Fortnite OG, which will launch on December 6.
If Fortnite introduces a new pass in the future, that will also include access to Fortnite Crew.
The Battle Pass is Increasing in Price
On a slight downer, the V-Buck cost of the standalone Battle Pass is now 1,000 V-Bucks, up from 950. The more expensive 25 Battle Pass bundle is 1,800 V-Bucks, and the Battle Bundle is 2,800 V-Bucks.
