LEGO Fortnite is the gift that keeps on giving. Last week saw the introduction of LEGO Chasers vs Hunters, with more islands arriving throughout the month of October.

Now, we’ve got an extensive update for Halloween 2024. This introduces split-screen shenanigans, a brand new LEGO Pass, Halloween Town cosmetics, and the release of real-life Fortnite LEGO sets.

Face the Fear With Friends in Split-Screen

LEGO Fortnite now supports split-screen play, so you can explore the various islands with a friend. Sadly, it’s not available on all platforms, and is limited to all variants of PlayStation and Xbox for now.

To enter split-screen, here are some quick instructions:

  1. Launch Fortnite
  2. Go to the LEGO Fortnite Lobby
  3. Connect a second controller
  4. Login to the second player’s account
  5. Link your Epic account

That’s it! It’s worth noting that you can’t play split-screen in guest mode, so don’t try and skip the fourth and fifth step.

LEGO Fortnite Brick or Treat Battle Pass

Halloween fast approaches, so LEGO Fortnite has introduced a brand new themed Battle Pass, Brick or Treat. This works much like any other Fortnite Battle Pass, challenging you to complete tasks in order to level up and unlock rewards.

Completing quests rewards you with Studs, rather than XP though. That’s a nice touch. The free reward track provides you with up to ten Decor Bundles, including the Dump on Old Durrr Drive as a final reward.

The premium track costs 1,400 V-Bucks and provides you with 11 additional cosmetics, including Frankie’s Laboratory, the Countess of Repose, and, as the final reward, The Ruin of Rue Royale.

You also get a brand new outfit immediately, the hot pink werewolf Andy Fangerson. That’s worth it on its own!

The Brick or Treat LEGO Pass kicks off today and runs well past Halloween, ending on December 10, 2024. Right in time for Christmas…

Halloween Town Comes to LEGO Fortnite

If you fancy building your own Halloween Town in Fortnite, make sure to grab the full set. It features a Town Hall, as well as Library, Home, and Meeting Decor sets.

In total, it will set you back 2,500 V-Bucks, which is almost as scary as Halloween itself.

If you fancy more outfits to dress yourself up in, grab the Sally and Pumpkin King outfits in the shop. These work across LEGO Fortnite and the regular version, representing terrific value.

LEGO Fortnite Ventures Into the Real World

If you’ve got kids who are obsessed with LEGO Fortnite, Epic and LEGO have teamed up to bring you the ultimate Christmas present.

You can grab the Supply Llama, Battle Bus, Durrr Burger, and Peely Bone sets right now from the official LEGO Store.
