Genshin Impact has announced two events taking place around New Years. These help you kick off 2025 with Primogems, Intertwined Fates, Character Ascension Materials, and more.
Mavuika’s New Year Greetings kicks off today, running through to January 1. It challenges you to share a post on social media to, hopefully, win Intertwined Fates in the New Year.
The second event, also kicking off today, sees you watch Mavuika complete her training plans. If she beats them all, you can earn Primogems, Character Ascension Materials, and more.

Mavuika’s New Year Greetings Event Details
- Begins: December 27
- Ends: January 1
To participate in this event, simply follow these steps:
- Follow Genshin Impact on X
- Quote the story embedded above
- Include your hopes for the New Year and the following hashtags:
- #MavuikasNewYearsGreeting
- #StandWithMavuika
Then, on New Years Day, you will receive a greetings card from Mavuika that includes 30 Primogems and Mavuika’s Specialty Dish.
You also have a chance to win ten Intertwined Fates.
Mavuika Training Day Event Details
- Begins: December 27
- Ends: January 2
- Level Requirement: Adventure Rank 10

This event takes place on the Mavuika Training Day event website. It sees you working alongside Mavuika to complete a bunch of training challenges. There are three in total, and if you beat them all, and you can earn exclusive wallpapers, as well as Primogems and Character Ascension Materials.
Make sure to grab the wallpapers while the event is active, as they expire the moment it ends. You have 30 days from the point you earn the remainder of the rewards to claim them from your mail.
