To celebrate the launch of Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced on PC, Rockstar has released a free upgrade for GTA Online that introduces entirely new vehicles, paints, modifications, and GTA+.
What’s New in GTA Online PC?
Looking first at the new vehicles and cosmetics, they’re part of a collection known as ‘Hao’s Special Works’. These include the following additional cars:
- Pegassi Weaponized Ignus
- Coil Cyclone II
- Karin S95
- Imponte Arbiter GT
- Pfiser Astron Custom SUV
If you’re a member of GTA+ – which is also finally availably for PC users – you can also grab the Principe Deveste Eight vehicle for free between now and May 28. That’s part of a Classics Collection, which Rockstar is giving away to celebrate the arrival of GTA+ on PC.
It’s not just cosmetics either. If you’re a fan of taking in the scenery, there’s a brand new gameplay mode that sees you getting in touch with the local wildlife. These arrive in the form of Ambient Animal encounters – during which you hopefully won’t get eaten – and a Wildlife Photography Challenge. You get those daily from the LS Tourist Board.
There’s plenty of reason to jump in for the very first time too. Not only are their four new criminal careers to kick off in GTA Online, but you get $4,000,000 in-game cash to get yourself started. For those unaware, that includes Nightclub Owner, Gunrunner, and Executive.
What’s GTA+?
GTA+ is a monthly subscription service that provides you with GTA$, CEO and VIP perks, and services within the Vinewood Club, amongst many other benefits.
Not only do you get $500,000 every month for free, you get 15% extra GTA$ with every purchase, as well as additional currency whenever you earn it in-game. You also get discounts on loads of stuff you buy in-game, including vehicles, properties, and modifications.
Meanwhile, the Vinewood Club gives you space to store up to 100 cars, allows you to modify them with ease, and you can adjust various vehicle features on your in-game phone no matter where you are.
